A Michigan-based company, Standard Minerals is the Project's owner and developer who discovered the significant salt resources in the Project area and who developed the contractual rights for exploration and development.

With offices in Lansing, Michigan, Golder provides geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and mine engineering services.  Golder is highly experienced with underground projects all over the world and across all stages of a the mine life cycle.

Krech Ojard's Marine Group will design the port facilities and waterfront infrastructure both above and below water with certified, commercially-trained divers who are licensed, practicing structural engineers with experience in fresh water environments.

Based in Onaway, Michigan, Moran Iron Works is a national leader in custom fabrication, specializing in work for power, marine, mining, and other large industrial sectors.  With over 35 years of experience, they excel at metal fabrication with precision, quality, and efficiency.

Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a long-standing tradition, Warner Norcross & Judd is a leading Michigan law firm with significant expertise in environmental and mining law.  The firm will guide the Project through all aspects of permitting.
